From 23–24 July 2011, ASHICO staff from across the country gathered at Vân Đồn beach for a summer trip combining team building and the mid-year 2011 business review.
ASHICO 2011 Summer Trip with Team Building & Mid-Year Review
Summer brings the heat and exciting travel to new lands with fresh cool winds. Alongside the rush to complete the first half of the year at ASHICO, staff chattered excitedly about the 2011 summer trip — an opportunity for the entire ASHICO family to gather, share joy, and recharge together.
22 July 2011: The day has almost… arrived! Staff from representative offices and subsidiaries across North–Centre–South Vietnam gathered with colleagues at the Hai Phong headquarters, eagerly preparing for the “big trip” — big in scale (all members gathered), content (summer trip + team building + mid-year review), and goals (strengthening unity for ASHICO’s future growth).
23 July 2011: The day has arrived!
07:00: All staff gathered at headquarters in sporty attire, luggage ready for two activity-packed days. Everyone wore the light-yellow ASHICO logo T-shirt; age, gender, and rank dissolved into a spirit of closeness. Everyone was ready to… hit the road!
07:30: The 47-seat bus slowly rolled away from the DG Building, heading to Vân Đồn beach — one of the most pristine beaches in northern Vietnam with blue sea, white sand, and cool sea breezes. With the enthusiastic AC Pro guide, songs, stories, and games on the bus made the 150 km journey to Vân Đồn feel shorter. After lunch with local specialities at a seafood restaurant, at 11:30 the group arrived at the ATI eco-resort next to Việt Mỹ I Beach, the most beautiful beach in the Vân Đồn area. After check-in, staff had free time to explore and rest until 15:00.

15:00: All staff gathered at the ATI resort lobby to follow the AC Pro representative to the beach area reserved for ASHICO. The “Reach New Heights” Team Building programme designed exclusively for ASHICO officially began.

After a gentle warm-up, staff were divided into 3 teams, which discussed team names, captains, and songs. The teams formed were: “Lạc Trôi” with captain Lê Đăng Phong; “Champion Ducks” with captain Vũ Thị Quỳnh Anh; and “Sea Elephants” with captain Trần Trọng Dũng. Four main games were carried out brilliantly.

The games required teamwork, sacrifice, discipline, creativity, and a touch of boldness. During gameplay, the distinction between leaders and staff, strong and weak, personalities and expertise all faded — leaving only united teams striving to win challenges and bring victory. The most outstanding team earned the highest score, but every team deserved victory for conquering challenges and themselves.

19:00: The lively Team Building was followed by the “ASHICO — Reach New Heights” Gala Night. Under the spacious sky of the ATI resort with mountains and sea waves, the ASHICO family enjoyed a vibrant gala with many song and dance performances from departments, representative offices, and subsidiaries. Combined with AC Pro’s engaging games, the gala night left an unforgettable impression on members and ATI resort staff alike.

23 July 2011 closed — a day full of meaningful activities.
24 July 2011: Day two!
08:30: All leadership and staff gathered at the resort conference room for the Mid-Year 2011 Business Review. The event was honoured by the presence of Chairman Nguyễn Đình Hoàn and Head of the Supervisory Board Vũ Thị Hoàng Ngân. Despite simple facilities and heat, the review was serious and highly effective. General Director Nguyễn Sơn presented the mid-year report and direction for the second half. Departments and representative offices then presented papers on their plans, all aiming at the best business results and organisational consolidation for H2 2011.

General Director Nguyễn Sơn also announced and presented awards for H1 2011: Outstanding Manager to Mr Nguyễn Hồng Dương — Head of Vung Tau Representative Office, and Outstanding Staff to Mr Nguyễn Thành Nam — Accountant.
The review closed with the speech of Chairman Nguyễn Đình Hoàn, whose insightful guidance gave staff further confidence in the company’s strong future.
13:30: After lunch at ATI, all staff boarded the bus, saying goodbye to the pristine Vân Đồn beach that witnessed many joyful moments.
17:00: The bus returned to the DG Building where the journey began — and where staff said goodbye to those from representative offices. The “big trip” ended. Two days were enough to kindle and nurture love among members and with the ASHICO family — motivating everyone to commit long-term to the company’s growth.
Goodbye 2011 Summer Trip. We return to work and its goals — but in every member’s heart, the memories of this trip will remain a motivation to achieve our goals for H2 2011 and beyond, truly bringing ASHICO to “New Heights”.
