From 26 to 31 October 2022, Asia Asset Investment and Management Joint Stock Company (ASHICO) organised a journey to explore the “Island of Gods” — Bali, Indonesia — for staff of the parent company and managers of member companies across the ASHICO system.
ASHICO COMPANY TRIP IN BALI — INDONESIA
From 26 to 31 October 2022, Asia Asset Investment and Management Joint Stock Company (ASHICO) organised a journey to explore the “Island of Gods” — Bali, Indonesia — for staff of the parent company and managers of member companies across the ASHICO system.
Bali, famously known as the “Island of Gods”, is the most famous tourist destination in Indonesia and across Asia. Bali attracts visitors with its ancient sacred Hindu temples of unique architecture, crystal-blue beaches lined with long white sands under brilliant sunshine, vast green terraced rice fields, traditional villages, and distinctive cuisine. Located in the Indian Ocean and maintaining its wild charm, Bali remains one of the most visited islands in the world — a place that gave every member of the group unforgettable discoveries and experiences.
On the Bali discovery journey, the group visited Pura Lempuyang Temple — one of the most ancient and spiritually significant temples in Bali. The scenery creates a unique picture when viewed from the temple gate, a gate known around the world as the “Gateway to Heaven”. In addition, the group visited Tampak Siring Holy Spring Temple — a very sacred temple where many Hindu believers wish at least once to bathe under the 12 sacred water streams to receive blessings and protection from the gods.
Beyond visiting temples to explore Balinese culture, the group also visited famous beaches at the southern tip near the capital Denpasar, especially Water Blow — where ocean waves meet the rocks at Nusa Dua Beach.
At the end of the 4-day, 3-night journey discovering Bali — the “Island of Gods” — the group better understood the local culture and customs, gained many impressive shared experiences, and grew closer together. Surely members will long remember the distinctive flavour of this “tropical paradise”, a small romantic oasis off the Indian Ocean of Indonesia.
