Happy Vietnamese Teachers’ Day — 20 November
“Respect the teacher, honour the way” has long been a virtue and cultural beauty of Vietnamese people. 20 November has long become the traditional day of Vietnamese Teachers — a day on which the whole society expresses respect for the teachers who nurture the nation’s talents.
On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day 20 November 2018, the Leadership of Asia Asset Investment and Management Joint Stock Company sends its sincere greetings and best wishes to all teachers and educators in general, and to ASHICO staff who have worked in education in particular. Wishing teachers good health, happiness, and continued contributions to the development of Vietnam’s education and economy.
Teachers are like gentle autumn sun.
Warmly gave us those school years.
We rarely knew how to be humble,
Often “disliking” teachers’ scoldings.
Yet once we were released,
Out into a life of many paths of honour and disgrace,
Wistfully remembering our school days,
The teachers’ words had quietly sunk in.
The autumn sun is not harsh;
Always cool, warm, and gentle.
May teachers stand strong always;
Never “let go” of the innocent “boys and girls”.
