Under Decision No. 990 of Prime Minister Phan Văn Khải in 2004, 13 October each year was designated as Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day, affirming the vital role of entrepreneurs in the nation’s development. Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day 2019 carries special meaning as 74 years earlier, on this very day, Uncle Ho sent a letter encouraging Vietnam’s industrialists and traders right after the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam — further proof of the leadership’s care for entrepreneurs throughout the country’s history.
As a tradition, to express gratitude of ASHICO staff to the company leadership, the Trade Union Executive Committee and staff at the headquarters and branches jointly organised a programme to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day. Fresh flower bouquets and meaningful keepsakes are heartfelt tributes from staff to the “captains” of ASHICO. We wish you steady courage and firm spirit to guide the ASHICO ship further still.
