In the national spirit of “fighting the pandemic like fighting an enemy”, the southern provinces were severely impacted, and residents faced many difficulties. On 31 July, entrusted by the Thanh Hoa Fatherland Front, Asia Trading and Logistics JSC (Ashico Logistics) undertook the transport of more than 430 tonnes of goods and essentials from Thanh Hoa to support people in Bình Dương, Đồng Nai, and Bà Rịa — Vũng Tàu — including rice, fish sauce, and cooking oil.

For this mission, Ashico Logistics also received 100% free support from the Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) for sea transport costs.

On 31 July, Ashico Logistics’ container trucks carrying hundreds of tonnes of food depart Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa for the southern provinces.
On the morning of 31 July, Ashico Logistics’ containers carrying food and essentials departed Nghi Son, Thanh Hoa for Hai Phong Port to load onto a sea vessel to Tân Thuận Port in Ho Chi Minh City. Previously, the company had completed the transport of 10 refrigerated containers of vegetables, fruit, local specialities, and essentials from the Thanh Hoa Fatherland Front to donate to the people of Ho Chi Minh City. Across two shipments, the company supported transport costs worth VND 200 million — fully contributed by generous hearts within and outside the ASHICO system.

In recognition of these contributions, Asia Trading and Logistics JSC received a Letter of Thanks from the Thanh Hoa Fatherland Front for its partnership and support with road transport costs for essentials to the southern provinces — quickly, safely, and conveniently — helping the Party and local authorities gain additional resources to prevent and fight the pandemic and protect people’s health.

The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front sends a Letter of Thanks to Asia Trading and Logistics JSC.
The safe transport of such goods within a short time during the difficult pandemic context embodied the solidarity, love, and spirit of sharing of Ashico’s leadership and staff across the system, powerfully upholding the company’s “Cooperation — Sharing” culture and joining hands with the Government to push back Covid-19.
